David Grosvenor was born in Exeter in 1956. He went on to study Fine Art and English Literature at Exeter University, at which time he worked primarily in the medium of oil.
In 1977 he graduated with a BA Honours Degree and for the next 14 years he worked in the field of graphic design and illustration for a number of agencies in London. In 1991 he moved to Gwynedd in North Wales where he rapidly established his reputation as a full time, professional artist.
David’s subject matter is varied, including landscapes and still-life. Since 1992 he has held annual solo exhibitions at galleries in Wales and in France.
