William Selwyn New Paintings
1 December 2018 - 6 January 2019
At the heart of this year’s Winter Show is a group of new paintings by one of Wales’ most eminent artists, William Selwyn.
William Selwyn was born in Caernarfon in 1933. His art is centred on the landscape and coastline of Gwynedd, its farm workers and fishermen. In 1976, he was elected to the Royal Cambrian Academy. He is the winner of a number of art prizes: the 1998 Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition; the 2001 Welsh Artist of the Year; and the 2003 Spitit of Llyn Art Competition.
This solo exhibition features new paintings that confirm his mastery of his chosen medium and is a wonderful opportunity to see him at his very best. It should not be missed.
All the work is for sale and Collectorplan is available.
